A moderate earthquake hit Odisha, and was recorded on Wednesday according to an official. At the time there as no damage to property or any loss of life.
The earthquake occurred at 10:45 a.m. with its epicenter at a latitude 20.7 degree north and longitude 85.1 degree east in Angul district of the state, the meteorological centre here said in a statement.
There was a moderate intensity earthquake that measured 5.2 on the Richter scale, which hit Kashmir valley early Sunday morning.

Notice the strong aftershock in Lata, Solomon islands measuring 5.6 on the richter scale, and the almost 6.0 earthquake in Mexico.
The Etna Volcano In Sicily Italy had no less than 3 paroxyms, with lava fountains, and lava flows with tall ash plmes from the New South East crater with the past 20 hours
so far. This marks a change from the previous 9-month period, which was mild to moderate.
The Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka has a small partial collapse of the active lava dome, which took place last night at 23h45, and produced a small pyroclastic flow, followed by mud flows towards the ravine at the North East flank. There was an ash plume which rose to about 7000 M in altitude, VAAC Tokyo reported.
Tolbachik volcano in Kamchatka recieved an eruption that continues with no changes reported by KVERT.
Grozny volcano on the Iturup Island has gas and ash plumees hich rose to an altitude of about 300m on February.
White island volcano in New Zealand shows elevated continuous tremor interspersed with earthquakes.
Popocatepetl in Central Mexico has a phase of increased degassing. This is most likely due to a fresh magma supply. Elevated activity is also visible on recent seismographs.
Santa Maria volcano in Guatemala: Activity continues to be dominated by moderate explosions. Ash plumes rising up to about 700 m, causing light ash fall in nearby areas.
The dome shows a 200 m high degassing plume and there is weak effusive activity at many of the lova flows on the dome’s flanks.
Fuego Volcano: The volcano is back to its typical mild, however there is continued activity to report.
Turrialba volcano in Costa Rica: An SO2 plume from either Turrialba or Poas volcano is visible on today’s satellite data, suggesting increased degassing activity at one of the volcanoes.
Highway In Arizona Bends
Incredible images out of Arizona today as a geological event has caused a road to bend The Arizona department of transportation has closed highway 89 near the Utah-Arizona border in both directions because of a pavement problem. The event
on Wednesday morning caused a 150 foot section of pavement to buckle and collapse. This event was most likely a landslide and a detour has been created.
Why The Recent Fireballs In The Sky Was So Significant
It’s not everyday that a 7 fireballs are seen all over the world, and 1 fireball could have potentially killed a lot of people. Just take a look at this video clip of the fireball hitting, and then shattering glass:
Here is a meteor, that was traveling extremely fast, and weighted 10 tons, if it hit a city it would have potentially done much more damage. Thankfully everyone was ok, but you hav to wonder if this is the new normal? A fireball that has affected humans is something that is almost unheard of.
This was the most significant event that has taken place in a long time, not only because of the damage to people and buildings, but also the other fireballs seen over the skies. Hopefully we will not have to deal with this in the future, but from the looks of things we might have no choice but to deal with it.
