In Cohutta Georgia there was a 2.8 magnitude quake at 1:47 a.m, between Cohutta, Georgia and Apison Tennessee. David Metcalf, a 911 operator for Cohutta and surrounding Whitfield County, says six or seven people called after feeling the quake shake their homes.
But there was no damage reported for the area. Geological Survey Geophysicist Paul Caruso said that at least one person reported feeling the earthquake in Kennesaw, Georgia, which is 80 miles away from the center.
Caruso says earthquakes typically don’t cause structural damage until they reach a magnitude of 5.5.
At the Paluweh volcano a major explosion has took place, generating 43,000 feet of ash, and extending 175 nautical miles to the south. There was a major dome collapse which triggered a large pyroclastic flow or a vulcanian explosion of the lava dome. According to the first local press articles, an explosion has occurred last night at 23:36 local time.
People from the north coast of Flores reported hearing rumbling and detonation sounds and seen incandescent lava ejections. A cloud of ash drifted over Flores and deposited about a half a millimeter of fine ash in areas of the north coast.
There were many living in the area who were advised to stay home and wear dust masks. The alert level at the volcano has been raised to red.
Ring Shapes CME Erupts From The Sun
On January the 31st 2013, an earth directed coronal mass ejection was accompanied by a large prominence eruption best visible in light with a wavelength of 304 angstroms. Nasa’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured this footage from 10 p.m EST on January 30th 2013.
The new year has started out with what looks to be earthquake swarms, increased volcanism, extreme weather that is causing flooding in many countries, sinkholes, and just recently a sun C.M.E. It will be interesting to see what takes place in the near future as conditions look to be worsening.
8Km Of Dead Fish Litter Australian Lake Shore
Thousands of dead fish have washed up dead on the shores of Burrinjuck Dam in south-east NSW. According to Liz Richardson from Good HOpe Tourist Resort, the amount
of dead fish was “unbelievable”. “Every type of fish,” she says. “Lots of baby fish, lots of small cod.”
“The Department of Primary Industries said the cause of the fish kill was unclear.
Fisheries officers inspected the site on Tuesday and observed hundreds of native golden perch and Murray cod among the thousands of dead fish. “Sizes of fish affected ranged from 5cm-80cm.
”The fish were observed floating in the water, along the waters edge and on the shoreline over an area of approximately eight kilometres within the impoundment,” a DPI spokesman said.”
Are these fish victims of the Gulf Oil Spill? For some reason these mass fish deaths cannot be explained by those who we trust to tell us what is going on with the mass animal deaths that we have all witnessed as of late. Could the earth’s magnetic field be twisting again, causing these fish to not know where to migrate?
There are a lot of mysteries out there, but one thing is for certain, these incidents are not normal.
