Another earthquake hit California today, measuring 3.5 in magnitude in the early morning hours, according to the U.S Geological Survey. The earthquake took place at 5:10 a.m Pacific time at depth of 4.3 miles.
The epicenter of the quake was 2 miles from Cape Vizcaino. The California region looks as if it is becoming more active as several earthquakes have hit the state recently.
Earthquake Rattles Italy
A strong earthquake has rattled much of north-central Italy, including Milan skyscreapers, the good news is that there were no reports of damages or loss of life. The quake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale and hit shortly before 4pm.
Institute official Alberto Michelini told sky TG24 TV, the quake’s epicenter was 30 kilometers north of Viareggio, a Tuscan sea resort, and was felt strongly in the regions of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
People in the Milan skyscrapers and others in the Tuscan capital of Florence and in Bologna reported feeling the quake. More than 300 people were killed in a 2009 earthquake in LAquila in the central Italy.
Another earthquake took place in Solano County in the Bay area, measuring 3.1 in magnitude qhen it hit just south of Fairfield and west of Suisun City around 9:38 a.m, the United States Geological Survey downgraded it to 2.9 magnitude later in the afternoon.
Reporter Staff Writer Ryan Chalk felt the short rumble inside the Solano County Superior Court. According to Ryan the “quick lateral jolt” was felt and doors of Department 17 shook briefly.
The earthquake did not cause in any damage but was felt as far away as Vacaville, Suisun City, Benicia, Vallejo, Deer Park, Pleasant Hill, Sacremento, Roseville and Nevada City.

The Victims Of Hurricane Still Struggle 3 Months Later
Many families are still living in very poor conditions, with no assistance from any government agencies to be found. Many of these individuals were used to some of the normal conditions of having access to electricity, and running water. Now their lives have been turned upside down.

Several small earthquakes have started to occur again in increased numbers. Following a period of calm with many days without any quakes, 9 small earthquakes in the range of magnitude 1-2 have been recorded over the past 48 hours. Most of them were located at depths of 10-15 km depth under the central part of the island.
